Nothing wrong with enjoying a social drink or two, but when you infringe on others' enjoyment or safety, then yeah, a frown is the least that should be expected.

I have always believed that if alcohol causes a social change in a person, i.e. becoming belligerent, argumentative, pugilistic, then that person should not consume alcohol. However, if a person can drink alcohol, and not change his or her good nature*, then alcohol in and of itself is not a problem.*People who are not good natured should not drink.

I agree with this, not because both are not potentially harmful, but the chemical change in the consumption of alcohol is immediate, and therefore, for that moment, more dangerous if the drinking person is driving or performing any other task requiring expertise and concentration.------ This thread is Archived ------
