The problem was with her accent. They prefer to have kids with either an American or British accent not an Irish one.. Hence the 'The Irish are piss heads etc'....
Am I the only person in the world that didn't watch Love/Hate and that other one, the name escapes me, that was about the teacher making crystal meth?
I saw one episode of Love/Hate and "hated" it..... I tried to watch the other one online but just didn't find it entertaining, I gave up after half way through the second series

I don't watch Love/Hate either.
I watched the first series and found it good, but it just got more and more violent and I hate that, so I gave it up
mollybaby: Seemingly that is not a rare occurance in Korea. They don't follow normal social norms!
Years ago the North Koreans were sometimes called the "Irish of Asia" for their self medication in Booze... and nowadays it's weed. It grows everywhere there and everyone smokes it. The South Koreans probably are a bit focused on that.

No I haven't and am not interested in watching it either...judging by the pictures in the paper today I wouldn't have enjoyed it..is this a female thing do you think?
