How many people have you met from CS? (41)
Elegsabiff: Doing a blog on meeting up and it looks like bloggers don't, on the whole. You forum bunch, though, much bolder types. Been to social group meets? One-to-one private meets? Care to share?
On the blog, if I could coax you out of your comfort zone, would be great. Tell you why. There's been a lot of negativity about fakes, scammers, false profiles, nasties, and some people are getting too scared to venture out. If you had a good experience, or even a funny-afterwards one, you'd be doing them a favour. And if they live anywhere near you, maybe doing you a favour too ...

Over the years I have met 5 people from CS, all were delightful, but sadly no long lasting relationship occurred, mainly due to distance problems, although when I am passing through Hong Kong I get to see one friend and always enjoy meeting with her and catching up on each others news.

Over the years...quite a few! Edmonton used to hold some rather serious gatherings. Have another I need to meet very soon...and lest I forget, I met and love one from this site and she lives with me now....and constantly reminds me to take out the garbage! Distance is always problematic for all of us...but with some planning, effort and desire...this site provides amazing opportunity!

Actually I have met several that live locally (strangely all were foreigners)but not romantically, just for a chat and coffee.
One of them became a very, very dear friend, who is happily married since last year (not to me)and we see each other frequently...
I will be meeting few more this summer (including a lady) as they are coming to my country either on business or cause they have a property here...
