Just consider every app downloaded on a phone or tablet everyone buys the lie that those little permissions you give to make the apps work automatically gives up your privacy of who you talk to your calendar of things you post etc. The greater question is why app developers need to know so much info about your phone just to run a silly game? Its like giving permission to let someone turn your camera on your phone or listen to your conversation while in the bathroom or bedroom without your knowledge. The developers will say they just want to use the resources available within your phone to enhance the app. Yet why do they need your pics stored or your camera your speaker microphone or your contacts? To allow big brother know who you associate with in the guise and interest of National Security. To learn if we are bad mouthing Obama and his policies or talking out of line with Grandma about her cookie recipe. Yet an a**hole like Achmed Abdullah (example) can use a throw away cellphone anytime to blow up a bomb in a trashphoneor a plane. It boils down the regular folks law abiding voters and citizens are labeled the bad guys against the radical extremist agenda. George Orwell-1984 published 1949. Yet those who voted or will vote for this they will have nobody to blame but themselves.

Obama doesn't control or own the internet and he is not trying to give it away. the reality is "U.S. Plans to Give Up Oversight of Web Domain Manager", as control is being transferred to an independent international organization known as ICANN (although still an American company). This has little to do with Obama or anything else you trying to suggest.

And it isn't "hand(ing) over control of the internet," because it doesn't control the internet in the first place.

ICANN has been in charge for quite a while. "They don't own or run the internet, but they handle several key processes, and this decision would be just the Feds no longer having them under contract, but them continuing to do exactly what they've been doing."
