I said I wouldn't in a previous post, but that has nothing to do with my failed marriage, I just don't see the point of it , if your not planning of having children..

Doubtful .. I function better living with a women , always have, always will but as far as marriage is concerned, I really don't see the point of it unless there is financial gain to be had, or the children thing.

Years ago , people got married a lot younger & the divorce rate was considerably lower.
It's attitudes that have changed , not the immaturity .

I think maybe the divorce rate was lower because attitudes HAVE changed...
People discovered that they didn't need to be in a miserable existence and could do something about it.
