I had a wonderful teacher in the 4th grade. Her name was Mrs. Beetle. I had no idea the effect she would have on my entire life. No one has been more influential than her. Not even Bob Dylan, lol.
She taught me about democracy and individual freedom.
She taught me about singing, and would not allow me to be silent in music class. To this day, I enjoy singing and do it almost everyday.
I only wish she had continued in my life. I wouldn't have ended up such a loser

I loved school
And was fortunate to have a few brilliant insightful teachers who encouraged my thirst for learning not just in an academic sense, but in terms of opening my mind to the world, its people, cultures, languages and art.
Hats off to them, they inspired me and still do in many ways
