He knows he is not going to win for any reelection. How convenient for him to express his criticism against a president who seems to be working hard to make this country again.
What does he do? He sensationalizes his political exit for his self serving interest of becoming the center of attention for his future plans.
How I came up with this idea is, this morning Matt Lauer asked him how he can accept that position that "by exiting you are actually surrendering to the loses of the people whom you claim to serve." He never answered that and I am equally surprise why Matt Lauer didn't pursue for his response to give a direct answer to that question.
My personal analysis is that this man, is not committed to serve the people. This man is not really committed for the greatness of this country. He is shouting for his need for attention and that is all there is to it.
Imagine the corrupt establishment that has been ebbed with political shenanigans that are only interested to empower their personal ambitions as typical politicians. Here comes a President that is void of all those political ambition and he is criticized for not submitting to the collective corruption that has been the trademark of all political establishments, Democrats or Republican.
Way to go Jeff Flake. Use this moment of your defeat to make yourself the center of attention. Where is your commitment to serve the people then if you think that Trump is a bully, not fit for president and you say don't have the heart to be complicit or accommodating this behaviour. Are there people from the same establishment that joins you in your bold submission?
Why didn't you answer Matt Lauer? That would have been my question.
Anyways, good morning fellow political forum posters and I just want to express how I feel about this bozo...
Your opinions are welcomed and I will not tolerate any personal attacks against any poster including me. I will appreciate any opinion on this particular matter, whether you are pro Trump or against him.
ChesneyChrist: I'm afraid of Americans more than Trump. Trump will be whatever you want him to be and his market is the modern American impulse to destroy.
Of a, thanks for your discourse. This isn't about Trump, this is about a guy running away from his responsibility when he's needed the most. Imagine that.
What amazes me is he didn't even acknowledge the question and equally interesting is, he didn't follow up on it. I'd have said, "wait a minute, if you truly care for the people why LEAVE the battle when we need you most."
ChesneyChrist: I'm afraid of Americans more than Trump. Trump will be whatever you want him to be and his market is the modern American impulse to destroy.
Now you have a great point in thus Obs. But the truth is that he's doing a good job by going against these people that are corrupt specially these old politicians.
JoyCrest: Majority of Republicans are with Trump, but it cannot be avoided, there are many who act like dogs, without loyalty! Just sad!
There us the truth. But his audacity to proclaim his personal conviction is a well designed plan fir his future ambition. Typical attention grabbing self serving politician.
RINO = Demonrat... it's all comin out that the RINO's colluded with the DNC, DNC colluded with an MI6 Op. MI6 colluded with RINO's and Dems Democrats colluded with the Russians, Russians bribed the KlinToons & on and on and on.

Jeffry Lane Flake (born December 31, 1962) is an American politician serving as the junior United States Senator from Arizona since 2013 alongside former 2008 presidential nominee John McCain.
Born in Snowflake, Arizona, Flake is a graduate of Brigham Young University and was a Mormon missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to South Africa before working in public affairs, serving as Executive Director of the Foundation for Democracy in Namibia and Executive Director of the Goldwater Institute. A member of the Republican Party, Flake was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 2000 for Arizona's 1st congressional district. He was redistricted to the Arizona's 6th congressional district during his first term and was reelected six times, serving from 2001 to 2013 and assigned to the Committee on Appropriations.
Flake decided to run for the U.S. Senate in 2012. He defeated three challengers in the Republican primary and, after a close race, beat Democrat Richard Carmona, the former Surgeon General of the United States, in the general election by 49.2% to 46.2%. Flake was sworn in in January 2013 and serves on the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on the Judiciary and the Special Committee on Aging.
Due to his opposition to President Trump, Flake announced on October 24, 2017, that he would retire at the end of his current term instead of seeking reelection in 2018.

Ooby, everyone knows who he is. His biography is not in question his altitude is.
Won't be surprised to learn if its the Flake from Snowflake ( you can't make this crap up ) with his mate McCain who funded it . We already know it was McCain who delivered it to the FBI . I don't have an issue with the Clinton's paws over the dossier as its what they should be dong , kind of . The dirt must be dug , even just to see if there's crap in it .
lindsyjones: It's all over the news now. How calm Trump is and made a very clear confirmation that this was politically motivated. Of course it is. But personal goal was also a part of that, I'm sure.
These evil shenanigans should be the ones to be in jail. Corruption azbd lies.
There's a lot going on that may well end up in the courts or should . But the dossier looks simply politically motivated full stop , even the timing fitted that . Too bad for the fools who spent the money on it , backfired on Clinton and will cost the GOP ones their cosy jobs .

I'm watching Hannity now and can't wait what Janine Pirro has to say.
rizlared: Rats jumping the sinking ship, this points to the imminent collapse of the GOP as many others will follow.
I am wondering if this could lead to a new party being created? An alternative to the GOP, that could really cause a headache for American politics.
Republican, a party at war with itself. Abe Lincoln said it best; "A house divided against itself cannot stand." The Republican party was fractured before the 2016 election what with the Tea Party wing creating a lot of chaos, the Freedom Caucus, the Evangelical wing, the National Debt crowd, the Tax cut freaks, the deregulation group. All these splinters fighting with each other. Along comes Donald Trump with promises to give jobs to the unemployed, cut taxes, brings manufacturing back from China, repeal Obama care, kill all environmental regulations so corporations can get even richer along with their stock holders. He's been in office for 9 months, about as long as it takes to make a baby and he hasn't accomplished anything.

He should have concentrated on stabilising the Republican party rather than having a pissing contest with NK. Of course, as a tv egoist, he doesn't understand politics or diplomacy, all that is happening to the GOP is as a direct result of his presidency.
The same in the UK, a crap leader causing the breakdown of the party in control. Sad that politics is so easily disrupted.
Saying that I guess the ultimate responsibility lies with the electorate, for putting the wrong people in power! USA, UK, France, Australia are all suffering from poor decisions made by the voters. NZ may well be next.

Yes indeed, each to their own trying to save themselves. It is too late. These evil doers can't just walk out easy of these heinous crimes. Hannity confirmed a lot of them will go to jail. I hope they will rot and die paying the price of all their corruption we the people have suffered for a long time.
