Keep in mind that the Trump organization is a corporation and will get a direct benefit from this tax cut in addition to him personally getting a windfall. Even if he doesn't finish out his term, the FIX is in and he and his family will come away from his stint as president with billions of dollars increase in their net worth. Sometimes it's hard to focus on corruption when it's too close, like right under your nose. The only way to detect it is my smell.

This is very reminiscent of that big Reagan tax "Cut". While the upper crust got millions, I got a check for 90 bucks, WTH am I supposed to do with this thing I thought? I put it in my checking acct and went on about my business. It sure as hell didn't improve MY standard of living. This video is from about 4 years ago but the facts are even more dire today.
For a party that's supposed to be so hateful of Debt, why do they keep doing things to increase it? dunno

My property tax just doubled; and I can't deduct it from my Federal taxes anymore...

My dental insurance went from $200 for a crown, to $500; and I never thought I'd miss Obamacare.

Tax relief isn't happening for me at all.

I'd love to punch Trump in the nose!

Before any of you sheeple get butthurt and start mashing the keyboard to type ignorant responses, think about this clearly enough before you do that:

Who has created more violence, death, and destruction in human history? Random assailants or militaries acting on orders given to them by their governments?
Who has more money, weaponry, and muscle to create that violence, death, and destruction? Random thugs or militaries acting on orders given to them by their governments?

Take the time to answer with clear and rational mindset, and we'll go from there

ChesneyChrist: The concept of "too big to fail" applies to currency.

By virtue of being the strongest country America is greater than the sum of its parts. Every American can earn $3, imagine themselves a fourth dollar, spend it, and the world picks up the tab. This has been going on for decades.

But I wonder if this - this how the rich live today - will be how everyone lives 100 years from now. If value can be automatically produced automation and AI then currency can be replicated without inflation. You can spend more money than exists because machines instantly make up the difference in the same that the way world makes up the difference for Americans today.

I think we're living in a proto-abundant economy where money does to some extent grow on trees. Low interest rates and QE in the Great Recession didn't trigger mass inflation and there's a reason why they didn't, the old-fashioned capitalist understanding is wrong in context of automation and proto-abundance there's an unseen give in the system which allows the replication of currency without loss of value. Two things can be said for fiscal irresponsibility A) Fiscal irresponsibility in America penalises the American last, and B) it's less correct than it thinks it is.

Fiscal responsibility is less correct than it thinks it is.

The problem is that this "give", this portion of wealth which grows on trees is owned by the rich and lent back to the poor who cannot earn the wages to justify borrowing it, and eventually the system implodes.

A good idea would be to throw away easy credit and payday loans and use the portion of money which grows on trees so that income does not begin at $0 for anybody. Reckless lending to a large extent is replaced by a basic income and you use this citizen's dividend to distribute wealth instead of bad debt.

Shedow goverment.
Example. Who killed Kendy ? Who was behind ? Not the one that they want us to believe.
The same threat from shedow goverment faces President Trump.

As a retired resident of Puerto Rico and the fact that it is a territory and not a state, I do not pay any federal income tax. Most of my life I did work and pay the middle-class tax burden as so many of my constituents did. I can only laugh now as to how stupid you all are to once again fall for this phony tax cut. It's like the trickle down lie that you always seem to fall for but somehow never seems to work the way they say it does . I guess you all deserve to get ripped off again and again as you are not bright enough to see what it did in the past . . . . . . rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Globilization has muddied the waters of corporate loyalties and patriotism. Trump and the Republican congress have achieved a massive corporate tax cut and present it as the Crown Jewel of their legislation. The United States is going to have to find an alternative source of Revenue or face dire consequences in the years to come.
The idea of Corporate America being little more than a shell game where great individual wealth dictates what our President and Congress do is treasonous. Curiously Bannon, our champion of nationalism and the common man, finds himself evicted from the chair of executive power and cast into the sewers by his wealthy benefactors.rolling on the floor laughing
Great wealth and great lobbying efforts have opened up our coffers and the money is already flowing into corporations without soul and without country.
