pedro27: whats the difference between Pakistan and india ?

Te MAJOR difference between India and Pakistan, Pedro, is religion. When the British divided the two into separate countries, India was the Hindu/Buddhist country, and Pakistan was the Muslim country. (I might add that the country NOW known as Bangladesh, was ORIGINALLY part of Muslim Pakistan. But SINCE the two parts were divided by India, and their environment and needs were different, and western Pakistanis weren't minding the welfare of the eastern Pakistanis, as well, the easterners revolted and created Muslim Bangladesh!) Does THAT explain ENOUGH, for you, Pedro? professor handshake cheers

KremaP: Without exaggeration, every second Irish person I've met in my life haven't waited long in a conversation before throwing some insults against the English... Same with Scottish, even in front of (ex) my English partner and my son...

I never heard that from the English...

Interesting observation, KP! NOT being European, I've never heard that, before! Thanks! handshake hug bouquet teddybear

pedro27: I mean I have my own opinion of England but you jumped to the conclusion I hated them ok

Did i??.
No i think i assumed that starting a thread like this might lead to arguements between some Irish and English here...not necessarily in a bad way....more of a ribbing way.

I dont believe i assumed that you yourself hated them.

galrads: Historically, the British must have the record for showing more cruelty towards others everywhere, unlike the Irish terrorists who just liked to blow up schools and churches with kids in them to communicate their point. That’s what my last and Scottish wife believed and told me, she did.

Surprised at you, Gal....very surprised

Let_Us: Good for you, Dee! If ONLY more people were as thoughtful! I KNOW you "hate" it, because you've said so, BUT

And I WAS going to make THIS comment, SOONER or LATER! But HERE seems as good a place as ANY! There IS a difference, between the Irish and the English! The Irish are PREDOMINANTLY "Kells" (Celtic), while the English are mainly Anglo (with some Teutonic and Pictish thrown in). And BOTH groups have an admixture of Scandinavian/Norse tossed in, for "flavor"! (Where did you think the Irish redheads came from?)

Why bring redheads into this...they have enough problems doh

laugh
