Other than CS, what are your favorite hobbies or ways of passing time?
I enjoy hiking, exercising, camping, fishing, spending time with family and friends, cooking, socialising, skiing, snowboarding, rafting, and so much more. I like to stay busy.
M4_Mischief: I enjoy coloring....jewelry making....watching movies....having a few drinks...dancing....and spending time with family and friends.....
I also enjoy social drinking but never to get drunk and I also enjoy going dancing on occasion and I like watching movies, psychological thrillers, comedies, documentaries, true crime stories and movies based on history and real life stories. I have to be in the mood for dramas.
I have way more interests and hobbies than I can fit into 4,000 words.
I like chess; but studying 64 square board games from around the world, leaves chess as a small aspect in a larger interest.
I love history; and chess also fits into historical studies...
...going back to before Noah's ark; which is the only logical reason I can find for 64 square board games to be found in such isolated parts of our globe.
I love learning.
I love languages, etymology, quantum physics, cooking, hunting, trying to decode hidden messages woven into cloth, religions, cultures, and seeing how everything that interests me, intersects in time and history.
Thanks to these new phones being hooked to the internet, an old hobby recently came around again...
I don't remember a time when throwing knives wasn't fun for me.
I have a lot of natural ability; and never met anyone who is better than me.
I was talking to my friend recently. He asked me a few questions, which started me on another long study...
I learned things about knives and knife throwing I never dreamed of!
I found people who skunk my feeble attempts.
I also found a man who's been making some of the best quality throwing knives for decades, going out of business, and bought his last two sets of throwers.
The value doubled as soon as I bought them. I can make a profit off of em.
But, I enjoy primative hunting.
The last two times I hunted was goat with a knife, and pig with rocks.
I always wanted to hunt with throwing knives; and I was just out of range from a deer in Utah once...
Finding 6 perfectly matched 22 ounce Bowie throwing knives, has me eagerly waiting for a chance to hunt with them.
The throwers I already own aren't heavy enough to puncture a pig or a goat.
All the throwing knives I ever bought before I learned about professional throwers, we're too light for hunting.
Now my hobby of learning for the sake of learning, has coincided with an old hobby...
And I'm really excited about hunting with throwing knives!
