Pandemic was #1 on our threat list above war and terrorism not that broader society reflected this. Most of our services revolved around low prices, low funding and little margin for error.What a shame. And other people blame POTUS Obama for the depletion of N95 masks.

And that could change now. We spend a fortune on Trident down to the outdated fears of world war 3 and nuclear apocalypse because world war 2 was the last great threat to us. But things change. Today it would be both wise and popular to divert resources from mutually assured destruction and put them into disease control. We will prepare for the next catastrophe being a pandemic, and it'll turn out to be something else.
