They only think about the fun at the moment, they don't think about what will happen if things go wrong. What if a new lock-down is needed and pubs/companies go bankrupt. When pubs in small villages go bankrupt, mostly it's the only pub in the village, so they have to travel to other villages to go to the pub, and they have to pay for public transport or a taxi, for driving while drinking isn't allowed.
As a chessplayer, I would say they are only looking to the next move, but not to what will happen 2-3 moves further. So it's important to teach children how to play chess, and how to think forward.

Yep, that's what I thought too when I heard it..selfish stupid fools who think they're being smart and/or funny....The thing is, they might think it's hilarious now...but what they don't know is how this virus could affect them later on down the line..They could catch it, be asymptomatic. and not have any problems for years..then suddenly.............

Then the first attendee who announces they have caught it with a doctors script, gets the money pot. The authorities are Breaking the parties up and asking they stop. What if you take it home to parents, grandparents. If one dies, could the host be charged with murder?
