Getting Back To Normal ( Archived) (11)

This just hit me, I've literally been at home 24/7 since the virus struck. I'm so use to it by now. It's going to feel really weird to go out and do things when this is over. Does anyone else hope they still remember how to be normal? dunno

Yes, I do remember :)

Well... Sweden wasn't locked-down, that makes remembering easier. But things are not back to normal here either: I still work from home and I meet friends only outdoors. Then we all are to keep distance and wash hands - and I don't see anything wrong with those two rules even after the pandemic.

The USA is inconsistent, as you might imagine a more or less collection of states might be. So I've found it, traveling here in the western states. Some places you can only eat at a hamburger stand, generally a chain. The virus knows not to go there LOL

Other places (generally little towns) it's not a problem. Obviously they don't watch CNN.

The big exception is New Mexico. It is run by masked maniacs IMHO. They will soon be building barb wire fences to control rabbits next.

I'm wondering how it will be in France and the other romance countries, where a cheek-kiss or an embrace is (was) standard as a greeting.

Can't say anything about France, but I recently (last Sunday) returned from Spain, there cheek-kissing was a norm before the pandemic. Not anymore. People also wear face masks and keep distance; hand sanitizer is at every entrance and everybody spritzes their hands. They suffered hugely in spring (a lot of deaths and a long lock-down) and I understand they fear the repeating of that nightmare.

On the positive side: they say that the sea never was as clean and clear as it is this summer.

Hmmm..I'm wondering also???
No more hugs...no more kiss-kiss or holding hands.

Romance and affection will be a thing of the past!

The brainwashing has already affected most of the population. uh oh

By the end of our winter, Spain will most likely be economically devastated with a long recovery and many other nations in the EU also. With illegal migration continuing even the UK will be hard hit and yet trade with the US and Japan will grow. If Biden wins in the US expect poor economic growth with all the useless policies Democrats listed including ridiculous green deals with even more illegals and criminals allowed into the country. The American situation at present is actually improving in terms of economy and all thanks to President Trump although further lockdowns will benefit no one. In short, this is the new normal and it will only get worse as most governments are struggling and losing capital every day... the only ones profiting are the communist in China who planned this attack on the world and yet no investigation has even started while the truth is obvious. One thing I do predict... there will be conflicts between China against India, many Asian nations, and Russia as XI attempts to maintain order in his own party and growing numbers of disgruntled citizens and prisoners in concentration camps.

Unfortunately for those of you who live in America it's going to be a very long time because of negligence.

Countries like mine who are going well still social distance and wear masks in places of business and on public transport..Close enough to normal & to have my freedom is wonderful..If America did what countries did believing in science / data and not spreading propaganda for the sake of winning an election..Those of you could be living a much better life in every aspect.
