tomcatty: I think you will find Wales is governed from Westminster you have a certain autonomous say about lockdowns, but you are an English dependency as is Scotland, and NI, don't get me wrong I want an independent England away from the financial shackles of Wales, Scotland, and NI.
Imwant to see that too!

Sawdust_Molly: We pay high taxes on your wage. Those taxes are for our health insurance, pension, and so one..
Belgium is having one of the best health insurance systems of the world, besides Canada.

We also receive paid holidays, and an end-of-year bonus in December, and holiday pay in July. Everyone is entitled to at least 21 (paid) leave days, I myself have 60 paid holidays per year
Wow 60 paid holidays. You have to be a teacher to get that here. If the US locks down again it is estimated 60% of small businesses will go under.

Sawdust_Molly: I just never forget to met a couple in Spain, whom from Wales, and I make a remark about the English, addressed to them .. hahahaha, it wasn't my best joke! that's why, I'll never forget that Wales, NOT belong to England
Wales is mostly governed by England and we have the same laws.

We have a very small amount of autonomy, so our covid restrictions have been more severe all along. I worked out a couple of days ago that more than one person in every 66 has had a confirmed infection here in Wales. That doesn't include people like me who have had it, were not tested and self-quarantined.

It was kind of fortunate in a way that I was laid off right at the beginning, a few weeks before I became ill. The infection itself wasn't too bad, but I've had symptoms ever since including chronic fatigue, chronic pain, migraines, blurred vision, palpitations and tingling in my hands.

I don't envy you working the hours you are. Take care of yourself as much as you can. hug

Dedovix: 1 i dont know how they determent the number of infected people when its proven that PCR-test cannot establish the present of the mentioned virus -
2-the WHO has admitted ,tho very shyly -that the virus has yet not been isolated ,AKA they still dont know if its a virus or bacteria - trying to hide that we have a man-made biological weapon at work
3-isnt a bit strange that no autopsy has been performed
4-the number of infected is way over inflated
5-masks, sanitizers and gloves really ?

Look, if you and many others feel better if you wear all the mentioned above ,and lock your self in your apartment - you should certainly do so

Most mayor cities in the world have protests against such measure and not many reports on mass medias, as if `` if we dont talk about it, it does not exist``
1) The only thing that has not been finalized about the tests is that 30% can still test false negative. The tests are now accurate for covid 19, but not yet fully established in terms of certainty of negative testing.
2) COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, which is a respiratory pathogen. WHO first learned of this new virus from cases in Wuhan, People’s Republic of China on 31 December 2019. ( WOH 15 April 2020)
3) When positively tested people die of Covid 19, what is the point of an autopsy? How do you know that no "suspected" Covid 19 deceased patients have ended up on the autopsy table? I know that an autopsy has been carried out in Belgium on "suspected" Covid 19 deaths, especially because these were younger people, and they want 100% certainty about the cause of death.
4) I say, the negative tested people is too low given that 30% test false negative
5) you're right about gloves, that's useless, better to wash your hands a lot, and using alcohol gels . Masks are not for our protection, but to protect other people, when everybody wears the masks correctly, we protect each other.

About your other comments on the end I can say that I don't close myself up, on the contrary I'm always around people ( my profession) but I stick to the security measures (keeping your distance is the most important)
Your last sentence make me laugh at loud! Ask the Netherlands for example, they believes in Group immunity.. ask them now! Same as Sweden, the difference between the Netherlands and Sweden has certain sparsely populated areas where covid is almost non-existent. Group immunity could be successful there, but not for the whole country.
Yers, there are protests, in Rome, Madrid, Paris, some places in Australia, and some others... Mostly people are tired of all these rules and measures, but not because Covid, isn't real...

I know that, but it's just the "proud" of the Wales people to keep their "independence" alive. lol

A friend of me was infected in april, she's still recovering.. but she was in intensive care for 4 weeks ( in a coma) she needed to learn everything like a newborn, she's still recovering... ( and, she's only 45 years old, so not in the high risk group)
Wishing you recovering back soon Jac teddybear

I know,...when people talking about 'the American dream".. I've my own thoughts about that.. roll eyes
A country like the US, I can't understand the policy around health secure, and support to people whom are unemployed... ( you got food stamps, we got a benefit of $ 1500 a month, and help from an organization to get back a job quickly)

Blimey, I bet your friend was sore after that. I wish her well and a good recovery, too.

And all the young lads you're looking after. Hopefully being young they will bounce back a bit quicker with no long term issues.

Here in Australia it isn't about politics as both sides of the aisle have educated us all with the same exact message..This virus will never be eradicated it's here to stay..When a vaccine is available it won't be a cure nor will it stop the virus from our surroundings just like measles chicken pox ect.

My vaccine right now is the mask when entering places of business or when needing public transport..There the only times I wear a mask..I social distance the same way I wear a mask..I wash my hands for 20 seconds when I get back home..I wash my hands more when at the gym..

We wear seat belts to save lives..It's not just about us it's about thinking of others when out and about as well..A healthy strong immune system won't stop you from becoming very sick or dead for that matter..Countries like mine must be doing something right if you compare countries all banding together compared to those fighting and using politics in regard to this virus.

For those who say it affects your rights ect then if three things like wearing a mask..Social distancing & washing your hands affects your life then what a very boring sad life you lead.

I wish peoplke on here would go to youtube and listen to those once healthy muscled up young gym people who now look like frail old men and whom will always be this way..This virus ravages every organ in ones body

Well if you are right Merc it is not a matter of if we will get COVID, but more of when we will get COVID.
Some people seem to handle it better than others.......I guess we won't know how it will effect us personally until we do get it.blues

The WHO admitted that they`re not sure what they are dealing with, that mask wont protect you from viruses -The WHO is a privately owned corporation that has 2000 employees -of which, 50 are doctors -1950 are ??? its a corporation that whole purpose is to make money
Fauci wrote about the Spanish influenca -what the cause was - pneumonia bacteria from cloths people used to cover their mouth and nose

German biologist and virologist Dr. Stefan Lanka has been claiming for years that so far no one has presented any evidence that any infectious disease is caused by a virus. He also claims that no such virus has been isolated so far.

Not all MP's are in favour of the expected lockdown.

"Many Conservative backbenchers think a second lockdown should be put to a vote in Parliament and have signalled that they will go against their party.

Tory MP Desmond Swayne said he thought the Government would win a vote on extra lockdown measures but said those who want to express dissent as elected representatives ‘have every right to do so’.

He told MailOnline: ‘I don’t doubt it is a difficult decision, but that doesn’t alter it being the wrong decision. The things that it does to our economy our health and everything else is worse than the disease they are combating.’ Andrew Bridgen MP also suggested he would not support the measure. He said: ‘These are huge decisions that the government has to make with enormous economic and political ramifications.

The Sage so-called experts won’t be held to account for the correctness of their decisions at the next general elections. We will.’

It's one thing for that to cross an MP's mind, it's another for it to be publicly voiced.

It's like having an appointment where the doctor tells you all about their own symptoms. It's not transparency, it's not doing the job they're paid to do.

Indeed, I made a point of adding that bit from the article....did he not realise what he was saying....or more likely confirming what we already know.
