You're right, hunting is not a sport. Especially trophy hunting, when it's just for kicks.

Sport is when both sides know they're in a game...

It's not even an act of survival. It's simply an act of killing for fun...

Hunting can mean anything from land sports to fishing and there are many restaurants who trade exclusively on that premise.
Do you think that these places sit there a wait for animals to die of natural causes ?

I think it's all about intent. There's quite a difference from killing for self gratification and pleasure, to killing with the sole intention of providing food.

I agree Fox hunting is a good example of slaughter for fun. It is banned in most places in the UK, but the arrogant carry on doing it as their right to kill for fun.

Who kills for sport ?
Fox hunting is a way of controlling animals who invariably kill livestock , not only for their own consumption, but because it’s their instinct.
We kill animals , not only for consumption, but because they are pests , not dissimilar to other rodents.

One2note: It’s about a heathy balanced diet and has nothing to do with being veggie or not .
I know of a man who is a meat eater , who has never caught a cold or flu in his entire life !

I am a meat eater myself but because I worked and travelled on public transport, I was exposed to seasonal bugs . Not so much as a sneeze in the winter months this year .
I know what you mean about the idiot !!
I know that it has nothing to do with being a vegetarian, but I was trying to keep on topic about the killing of animals for consumption.

For me, i am a vegie because of several reasons.
