pat8lanips: co dependence?
Oh she was gathering her recyclable bags out of the front seat and I gave her determined stink eye before departing but she didn’t notice so I left deflated moping

Then went to Bunnings.

serene56: No I generally shop at Coles Merc and take my bags with me

I would like to mention though that I pulled up at my local this morning, just after 7am on the way back from taking my dog for a run and there were 2 vehicles in the car park including mine.
I came out minutes later and someone had parked so close to me I could barely open my door enough to climb in, what's with that

There were like a hundred other spaces
I don't drive Serene & yes that would piss me off..Woolworths is cheaper than Coles

I don't like my coles..Old grumpy woman who shouldn't be there..Plus my exes sister works there and she gives me the stiff upper lip and whispers to her buddies when I'm seen..I just do the flick my hair thang laugh

I've moved twice since then, in total suburbia now. But it's even more like a jungle, wildlife is easy to manage...

The real reason the big markets are stopping plastic bags is a worldwide run against using plastic bags our major markets are doing it here.

Mind you seeing the huge amounts of damage they do to our wildlife marine and otherwise, I'm not entirely against banning plastic, JMO

thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up

Have you ever seen the documentary of plastic trash in the oceans? People on million dollar yachts or those in a small rowboat would rather throw their plastic cup overboard instead of a trash bag on board. Fisherman throw fishing lines overboard causing so many fish of all sizes to get caught in the lines. It's just sad the callous attitude people have for the planet.

Unbelievable the cavalier attitude people have to throw their trash on the street, in somebody's yard or along the highway. sigh

Minute particles of plastic can be detected in human beings now. The animals die of plastic pollution, I guess we are next.
