galrads: Is anyone here a high maintenance person? If you like, please give example(s) of how you are not or might be a high-maintenance person.
By high-maintenance I mean ‘people who require a lot of time, money, or effort; they are someone who needs to be the center of attention; they require a high level of care and attention… demanding’
I am sometimes a high-maintenance person, but only in one regard. This will probably be the shortest thread in cs history.
I'm able to "maintain" myself....I don't require being spoilt...doesn't sit easy with me..plus I would pay my own way which is what anyone would expect.By high-maintenance I mean ‘people who require a lot of time, money, or effort; they are someone who needs to be the center of attention; they require a high level of care and attention… demanding’
I am sometimes a high-maintenance person, but only in one regard. This will probably be the shortest thread in cs history.
But I do love affection and love to give it as much as receive it....nothing better than a long hug and kiss after a hard day working...
Nothing nicer to cuddle up to a partner having a drink watching TV....
Or walking hand in hand somewhere.
I don't like too much of anything everything in moderation.
Plus I'd rather avoid the whole valentines day...you don't need it if you give your partner sufficient love and attention most every day

Oh yeah..real high.
As I sit here in second hand shorts that I just added elastic to because I cant do more tucks or wont get them on. And a second hand t-shirt that is too big. I combed my hair this morning? Or didn't I...
Nope..didn't.
Name brands? Yep. If they show up at Goodwill and they dont ask too much. Makeup..when I go to town. Hey masks are great. Do eyes and skip the rest. Hair do..whatever it WILL do.
I do the waiting on, rarely get waited on. Pay for something I want and I will pay you back. No free rides.

I wouldn't consider myself High-Maintenance or anything but I prefer the term 'they or them". Even though I've got a set of balls, I pretend otherwise.
Lawwwwd have mercy on those that think otherwise, other than that, nah....I'm not high Maintenance at all.

For me someone who is high 'maintenance means' is someone whose needs always must take precedent over anyone elses or they become unbearable when people around them (often a partner and/or their children or waiters or shop assistants) don't continuously jump through hoops for them ...

For me high maintenance is not a material thing. After living 4 years with a women who gradually became more and more paranoid from her thyroid gland not functioning.By high-maintenance I mean ‘people who require a lot of time, money, or effort; they are someone who needs to be the center of attention; they require a high level of care and attention… demanding’

It took a lot mental power from me to keep a normal life. That was high maintenance. I would not date a women who has this problem again since it's impossible to have a normal life no matter what you do.

Care to expand on that experience or why that made life difficult for you?
