Youcannow: At some stage , you have to let them out , usually after a spell on medication, but you cannot account for people who think that they are cured & refuse to take their medication.
Yes and the stage they are 'let out' is after they appear to no longer be a threat to their own or someone else's life so they are allowed to go home. By that time they are no longer registered as being on 'suicide watch'.
Youcannow: Maybe the absence of his mother may have played a major role. We don’t know the full facts . All I’m saying that Sinead lifestyle may have contributed to his mental illness.
When someone dies by suicide it leaves that big Why??? We will never know why this poor boy decided to end his life, just like all those other men and women who died by suicide. You are only assuming and blaming his mother.

I’m not just blaming the mother . I just stated they she was too quick in coming out to the press to blame the authorities , when in fact , she has to take a large chunk of the responsibility for his illness .

You have understand grief hits everyone differently and if that is how she is coping, well let her be. I am not a fan of hers but I think she is craving attention like she has all her life! I joined this thread supporting the poor boy, who took his own life as an end to his pain, whatever that was.
blathin: The money is all going to the EMF who forced us into a bailout....
And, as you said there, the most vulnerable are now paying for it through poorly funded services that they so desperately need...
That said, it's pretty bad in Ireland but we tend to be a kinder nation.... the UK is far worse of a mess...and no where as kind towards each other..so I'm hoping this will effect a change and start mental health of our young people a priority..it's been desperately needed for decades...anyway, that's another topic for another day...

I agree . I can’t imagine what that poor boy must have gone through to take his own life at such a tender age .
Youcannow: If people want to mock & throw insults, then it says more about them , than it does me . I’m sure there are more who want to jump on the bandwagon, with absolutely no input on the topic ,other than to insult , but that’s the risk I have to take.
"Tell those stupid Irish who don’t think the upbringing had anything to do with his metal Heath" #161
Probably best not to cry poor me when you posted that last night whilst talking to yourself.
Youcannow: The one I have just quoted you on . If that is not a threat , then what was the meaning of that post ?
"But getting back to the op. For a parent to lose a child is truly heartbreaking. When the loss is due to suicide I cant imagine the anguish for the parents, it must be unbearable"
It was a direct reply to Bod's post.
"For a parent to lose a child is truly heartbreaking" True ..
"I cant imagine the anguish for the parents, it must be unbearable" I hope it never visits my door.

It’s not my fault that you could not hide behind the females no longer when they decided to leave, especially when Lee came out with the facts about Sinead's past history.

I have no idea how you saw a threat there ..
That was never in doubt. But putting the blame game solely on the authorities so shortly after the boy’s death is what I have a problem with .

I made my own points last night. I don't need to hide behind anyone.

Stick it in reverse there .. you accused me of making threats and getting personal. I'd like to deal with that if you don't mind.
