Open dicussion….What killing marriages/ relationship this days? (22)

Some people marry in haste--"love at first sight", and it works a lifetime for them. Some people do as much due diligence as is humanly possible, thinking, re-thinking, pre-marriage counseling, great communication, the whole nine yards, and it fails later. No one can say there is a right way or a wrong way or whatever. I suppose you must trust that your love for one another is deeper than any problem that can come your way.....that is, not to say one should tolerate abuse. If the couple has a contract of sorts, where they PROMISE to communicate sagely and fairly, and re-visit their feelings and goals at least once a week, that might be beneficial. Can't hurt....Anyway, I admit I'm really out of the loop--and away from the "danger zone" because I love and embrace my single life.

I am not judgmental about a parting. Sometimes it just doesn't work out, and a new beginning for each is equitable.

But that is nothing new. It's on all the old TV comedies. Has nothing to do with the increase in divorce.

Guessing that internet gives some the feeling there is someone better 4u out there, so if you dip below a certain treshold, the flirting begins. Basically nobody should get married nowdays unless they been together about 15 years and write an application to the government for it.
