I know all about COPD hun, I was told I had that when I was going through the process to - in the end - getting diagnosed with asthma. It's not easy. And, of course, I certainly understand spinal problems.

Yep, that too.. Was told that 20 years ago. They told me not to lift over 10 pounds. How the hell did the expect me to pick up them redheads and scooters?
As for the COPD, I smoke 2 packs a days to help with the cure...

I Still smoke as well.............My sister just died from COPD back in August she was only 66

Mine is apparently soft tissue damage!
Problem is its where martial arts or military people would call it the sweet spot.One good blow there, or a knife popped in and tats you lot.
If you see a movie caller serenity you'll see a nasty man cripple people there before finishing them of worth his japanese sword!
So ive somehow damaged a nerve cluster putting me in agony, but its coincided somehow with what feels like a collapsed lung that isnt! But sunday i began throwing up lung tissue in chunks!
So im doped up on opiates to help me rest, which is impossible and the pain level is pretty damn high!
I'm currently waiting a few hours sleep before going to docs to show him the bits of lung in the plastic bowl here and then go to hospital!!!
No before you all scream go now! I'll say 6 weeks ago i was sent home from this hospital and told the chest xray was fine and there was no problem with my lung! Oh and i should take paracetamol for pain and just rest! Honestly!!!
Now of course i'm on morphine and puking lung tissue they might do something you would hope!Especially when i hand them my solicitors card tell them if there is any damage or malpractice i will be seing the health trust!!
Hopefully that might nudge them into it, bad when they dont believe the patients and you have to puke your lung out to get help!I had the distinct impression they thought it was psychosomatic and even though i doundnt actually hardly breath or walk didn't do a think for me!!
This is a gory and absolutely true current story of my experience with the NHS in the last 6 weeks, and at 2pm up getting up, getting cleaned up so i have some shred of dignity when i pull myself to the front of the cue to be told to take a seat and wait 3.5 hours before they will get a junior doctor to see me.
If i were a horse i would be shot on the spot, but today hopefully even threatening with legal action as a last result they might actually investigate what is making a 40 year old non smokers mans lung feel like its deflated and is being puked up in chunks!
Roll on hospital later i cant wait
