RobbieM: Mine is apparently soft tissue damage!

Problem is its where martial arts or military people would call it the sweet spot. One good blow there, or a knife popped in and tats you lot.

If you see a movie caller serenity you'll see a nasty man cripple people there before finishing them of worth his japanese sword!

So ive somehow damaged a nerve cluster putting me in agony, but its coincided somehow with what feels like a collapsed lung that isnt! But sunday i began throwing up lung tissue in chunks!

So im doped up on opiates to help me rest, which is impossible and the pain level is pretty damn high!

I'm currently waiting a few hours sleep before going to docs to show him the bits of lung in the plastic bowl here and then go to hospital!!!

No before you all scream go now! I'll say 6 weeks ago i was sent home from this hospital and told the chest xray was fine and there was no problem with my lung! Oh and i should take paracetamol for pain and just rest! Honestly!!!

Now of course i'm on morphine and puking lung tissue they might do something you would hope!Especially when i hand them my solicitors card tell them if there is any damage or malpractice i will be seing the health trust!!

Hopefully that might nudge them into it, bad when they dont believe the patients and you have to puke your lung out to get help!I had the distinct impression they thought it was psychosomatic and even though i doundnt actually hardly breath or walk didn't do a think for me!!

This is a gory and absolutely true current story of my experience with the NHS in the last 6 weeks, and at 2pm up getting up, getting cleaned up so i have some shred of dignity when i pull myself to the front of the cue to be told to take a seat and wait 3.5 hours before they will get a junior doctor to see me.

If i were a horse i would be shot on the spot, but today hopefully even threatening with legal action as a last result they might actually investigate what is making a 40 year old non smokers mans lung feel like its deflated and is being puked up in chunks!

Roll on hospital later i cant wait

Sorry to anyone who read this while eating

OMG Robbie!!! Sue the hell out of those people! But more importantly, please take good care of yourself, my friend. hughug

I'll sure try unless the nephew either kills me with poisoning or the cats sit on my head and suffocate me.

I'm guessing today wont be a good day to buy a lottery ticket, but who knows!

Noone's ailment is silly. We have to deal with our own bodies and people's pain tolerance are all different. Whether it be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, we all have pain in our lives. Shingles can be very painful and it is a long process to go through.

My original post mentioned from bumps and bruises to serious ailments. This thread is open to anyone who has an ailment and would like to share. I bet someone read about shingles Daisychick and learned something they never knew. So your post was very important, as was all the posts here (even blue balls)...laugh

Again, I want to thank everyone here for sharing and being very respectful with their posts.hug

Oo I don't have anything.. I broke my collar bone and ankle once in a horse riding accident.. and broke some fingers a few times ..

once when a 17.2 (that's big) horse stood on them.. once when I fell off my go cart hammering around a corner..

once when standing on the top bunk I took the light bulb out and shoved my fingers in the socket to see what electricity felt like. laugh

Just various aches and pains relating back to a motorbike accident at 18, nearly lost me leg, thankfully not, it got sewn back on, nice skin graft the length on the shin where the skin and muscle got ripped off, a nerve got trapped in the fibula while it was healing which gives hell if I accidentally bang it blues better to leave it there and have feeling in the foot tho grin

Main thing is due to the left leg being weaker, the right overcompensates, which leads to all sorts of things being ever so slightly out of line further up the spine, so every once in a while if I overdo stuff the right hip gives out loads of gip, and I get a lot of tension knots in the right shoulder.

Overall tho, nothing compared to the problems a stump would of caused so rarely grumble about itthumbs up

Well - let's see - - ailments for me.......

In 2006, I had cancer for the fourth time and as anyone who has been around this knows - each time you have to go through chemo - it is a stronger dose.......ALSO - chemo is not predjudice!!! It kills the bad cells AND the good cells.....

So as a result of the vicious cycle of chemo, I developed secondary heath problems. I had degenerative joint disease before the chemo, but the problem became worse afterwards. I also have Lupus, Fibromyalgia and Peripheral Neuropathy, thanks to the chemo.......

I may have "saved my life" by having chemo again (only did it because my daughter wanted me to), but in saving my life - I killed the life that I once had.....everything is different now - and by different, I definitely don't mean better.

I can't sleep - no more than two hrs at a time; I can't relax - the more relaxed I get, the greater the pain., but the worst thing is that my friends abandoned me when I started my chemo and started having additional health problems...

i HAVE been taking malic acid and magansuim throughout the day.

Also take malic acid and magansum and calcium at nite for sleeping
Try this for the fibro.

Another good natural sleep aid is melatonin. It is cheap and works very well.

melatonin is ok for awhile, but you need natural. Melatonin is good only for a few weeks. Try the calium and magansum at nite. 500 mg each.

You dose off like a baby and get 8-9 hours of sleep. More restorative
sleep.
