right? You know what I mean. The table, my head, the computer....nothing touches anything, right? I think I can feel the table but it's just the repulsive force of electrons around atoms.

The physical world, the world of objects and matter, is made up of nothing but information contained in energy vibrating at different frequencies. The reason we don't see the world as a hugh web of energy is that it is vibrating far too fast. Our senses, because they function so slowly are able to register only chunks of this energy and activity, and these clusters of information become "the chair," "my body", "water", and every other physical object in the visible universe.

Only a matter of the way of perception used: FOR MODERN MAN, the cage of physical senses plus the confusing theoretical attempts to give names to somethign so undefinable as reality.

The same Edward Witten (one of the most important theorists of the Super String theory) admits that when he talks about the enormous amount of fuzinness in the objects intended to be described. And fuziness is the gate to go beyond the rigid logic, pretentious language of modern science and extremely limited perception of the technological man.

I will agree with you there. Beliefs, perceptions do guide the 'Modern Man' for their ideas of reality.
I can believe this world, here, that seems so real, is an illusion, a dream. My eyes don't perceive
it 'yet' that way but my concepts and perceptions can shift as I learn more. It doesn't mean that
the world will go away for me but that I will understand things differently.

FASCINATING...I get it and I understand but I usually need to be shown in a more elementary way. Like I'm a 6 yr old that needs it to be broken down in little drawings. I hate feeling that way but if it means I'm thinking outside the horrible box society has put me in, then gimme my juice box!

In this physical domain we are also constantly exchanging energy and information. Imagine that you are standing on the street and you smell cigarette smoke from someone walking a block away. This means you are inhaling the breath of that person about one hundred yards away. The smell is just a tracer notifying you that you are inhaling someone else's breath. If the tracer wasn't there, if the person wasn't smoking , you would still be inhaling that person's breath, you just wouldn't know it without cigarette smoke to alert you. And, what is breath? It is the metabolism of every cell in that stranger's body. That is what you are inhaling, just as other people are inhaling your breath. So we are all constantly exchanging bits of ourselves-physical, measurable molecules from our bodies.

Some people do need to not breathe so heavily...especially in a car early on a cold and brisk morning....fogs up the windows and I hate that....laugh

It's all just tendencies, behavior is as solid as the chair you're sitting on. That's why it always confounds me that people don't trust relationships,

they're reliable enought to construct a world, but apparently that's not good enough for some folks.

Quicksand is a group of particles unattached, well glued by water. My first thought on what you said was the density of the objects in question,,, all solids have particles that will colide with particles of other objects the glue or connection betwine the particles determin whether the object gives or stops.

In your head has nothing to do with psysics.

We're made up of more space than we are made of matter. All atoms have more space than matter, and all that we perceive as solid is made up of atoms.

As SF said, we perceive the world as made up of so much solid matter because we operate at a lower vibrational energy level than other things, such as our Spirit/Soul. However, you can elevate the vibration level of your energy by tuning in spiritually...and when you do that, you learn how to see matter as much less solid.

Take it one step further, and it can be manipulated. Don't think it can? Talk to a Ninja or a Mystic. I had a friend teach me how to "disappear" by tuning in like that. This is a gal who could concentrate enough energy to dent a cement block wall and take out a 300 yr old tree with one punch, too. (Much better type of person to have as one's friend than one's enemy, btw. laugh ) I learned how to help my boyfriend at the time win pool games, too.

Cool thread, Drummerguy! Music lifts your energy and vibrational levels too, btw. thumbs up

This is entering the 'black hole' of particles/waves; protons and anti protons, why electrons do not lose all their energy and collapse in on the nucleus of the atom; the works of Donald Hotson, and the 'virtual quantum reality' and Hal Puthoff on 'zero point energy being the unseen energies of space/vacuum fluctuations inside this plasma soup...'ether' of our 'holographic universe'.....fascinating.
Read through an update as to the manipulations of our realities, our matter the lab experiments that have not only speeded up the old accepted speed of light but of slowing it down at will in the book " Sight Unssen" by Budd Hopkins and Carol Rainey as well as the books from David Bohm, Stuart Holroyd's "Prelude to the Landing on Planet Earth"....there are so many aspects, so many forms of parallel universes that we are blind to see let alone comprehend...

thumbs up Science is beginning to catch up to the mystics. As we develop nano technology, and even smaller than that occurs, science can finally prove what the Kaballah and other wise writings have taught for years about matter, time, space, dimensions, and parallel universes. For example, that all time is now.

I went outside barefoot - and down the driveway the other day to get my mail., I stepped on some of that "matter" !!
It squished up in between my toes !! I'm sorry to tell you - It IS SOLID !! AND it SMELLS !!
