fireliter: I never meant to question your relationship of honesty with your son or anyone elses... my comment was "in general" of most parent and young adult childrens "total Honesty factor". never intended to disparage your relationship with your son.
Maybe i jumped a little bit...
but for me FAMILY i intend to defend...
that is me...
but i had others tell me that i dont know all about my son...
kissmedeeply: Well my dear..i cant do anything about anyone else...
Its none of my business...
I can only speak my opinion..
Whether you like it or not..
NOW THAT IS REALITY
but the day that you(or your husband)are not there for your son, for some reason, you expect/would want someone to be there for him/guide him/help him...

Yes i have a large FAMILY
They will help in anyway they can
My son is not stupid/ he has done very good with help along the way
This thread has served it's purpose... You expect me to stay awake till six am while you sneak off during debates to "spend" time with "18 year old boys"...how inappropriate of you...goodnight...
Jewel7: Im reading a profile & i liking it when i look at the age group the man is looking for 18 to 50 & this guy is 47 i feel uncomfortable when i see that specially when these guys have daughters of that age.. Lifestages are completely out of sync with such a huge age gap, what u think?
Some gals really want older men.. not boys
get real jewel.. we all know how badly you want to find ya an 85 year old man for a soul mate.
lusciousmile: Sweetie, you're from Brazil, and i'm sure you know it happens there too. Do you really blame these young girls for trying to survive? They are kids! What do they know?
It does happen in Brazil and I´ve seen it so often I don´t believe they´re innocent victims or naive at all. For lower class and even not so unfavoured it is "normal" to be supported by a man, and they are encouraged by their mothers, aunts and gradnmothers to find "the best deal" on their little flower. They actually think all they need to do is make a baby and live on child support for the rest of their lives. I know a few who are actually factories: 4 or 5 children from different fathers, and guess what, they DO make a living on it, and they DON´T want to be married. They just want to know they won´t have to study or work at all. Now how naive is that?
On the other hand, I´ve seen girls really strive, and reach hig education levels, have their own jobs and even support their parents, coming from low class and difficult conditions.
I´m sorry. I don´t believe in culprits and victims. Everyone gets what they go for and live how they choose, even with difficulties. I´ve been through many of them myself, and I didn´t try for a free ride.
