Ideal do not exist.
There is only illusion in our minds, and by the time, how we acquainted with that person, we can be more disappointment. Because, we will realize that our illusion and realistic person do not match as much as we wish.
So, no thank you.

I have an ideal match - she's German, 45, self-employed, has a cute cottage in the woods, has her own teeth, just the one son who is grown up........ and she loves me!
We're getting married - in 2117.......... one should not rush into these things when you get older!

I think this is the main point! But how much compromisses are you able to allow?
In my first marriage I compromissed far to much that I finally had the feeling I gave up my own personality. I am still able to compromise, but I always expecting compromisses from my partner! But I do not aggree with people who wants to change a woman to their ideal person!
A very good example is: If you meet a woman in a mini skirt and, as soon as you are a couple, you tell her to dress like a granny! Or you tell her to loose weight! Like changing the hair style/colour could be acceptable!

Not in the way of ideals as they are concrete and life induces change willing or not. But I do have one specific person who will always hold my heart as long as I breathe the fragrant scents of life.

I definitely do not have an ideal match in mind. I've learned over the years that different things attract me in different people and it's just a situation of "I'll know it when I find it", rather than "I'm looking for a man who has _____ and _____ and who never _____ but will always _____ and who _____", etc.

I have an ideal in mind...to an extent. Compatibility and chemistry will be most important. After all, my late husband sure didn't fit any ideals I held...and yet, he fit them all.
