I went to report the girl but the report feature asked for evidence. I don't feel like going to the other website and waiting for that ad to pop back up just so I can write down the URL for proof and report her. So I didn't report her. I think if the CS people read the profile they will notice that the profile says one country but the girl says she is from one of those not-allowed-on-CS countries.
Am I supposed to report profiles even if I can't PROVE it. Even though it's pretty obvious?

We have one that says has blue eyes but picture is brown eyes. But I am not gonna fight it. Let someone interested in them discover that fake some day on their own, if they aren't smart enough to notice that, then they deserve it.

Yeah...I've gotten one of those! I've also seen them where they made changes in the profile that didn't blend in well, and were so obviously written by someone else that it was pathetic. The original owner of the profile was a very intelligent, well-spoken man with excellent grammar and spelling, and there were places that had the typical scammer pigkin English and misspellings, as did the email I received. I reported that one with a detailed description of the errors, and it was pulled.

Do you remember when we had mouthy alex here awhile back, he had a profile that had been copied from some woman's profile.
And I guess he never read it and corrected it before using it for his self. So in his profile it mentions what sort of man he wanted. But he was looking for women.

The problem with maniacs is they cant keep this up for long and then you find out your talking to a maniac.

LACali: I wonder why some people are jealous? If it's really an excuse to just blow the person off which is what I think. I only talk to one person at a time on here and then if it finishes I've talked to the next one (except my female friends that I've made) but when I do talk to someone I'm accused of flirting with lots of guys on here based on nothing. I think its an excuse to throw the whole thing over.
Also when you log off the site shows you logged on for 45 minutes after you're gone. I've been accused of being online secretly flirting when I was in bed asleep.
The truth is that aside from joking around I've only even emailed back and forth with 3 guys on this site and talked on the phone with two of them.
I've never been a big flirt, it just isn't something I know how to do very well, and don't have the energy to talk to more than one guy at a time. I'm really tired of this.

Jealousy is a mixture of human emotions - it's natural. But what you described is more like possessiveness, trying to control you. It's ugly and no woman should deal with it. You were lucky they showed it right away, could be worse. Don't feel sorry.

2. Or those who have been betrayed (need to regain trust)
Jealousy is a pointless destructive emotion.. I would run a mile from someone who was displaying jealous tendancies... its one thing someone being pissed off with me for doing something.. but someone being pissed off with me for doing nothing would be more than I would be willing to put up with...

some deep rooted nerve in our minds takes over when we feel threatened that we may lose someone. especially when they may be attractive and sought after. rationality and everything that makes sense sort of loses its sway when this happens. i.e the irrational accusations.
it's tough to deal with but trust is what's needed

Should this 'emago' exceed the expectations we hold for
ourselves, jealousy can manifest.
I guess its a sign of insecurity, and quite often a sign
that a complex is at work.
Either way, sometimes I'm glad I'm single.
