Well back in the day.....lol I can quite honestly say that you were the one who kept me from leaving the forums. You were sooooooo nice to me and I'll always remember that
The reason I left later was cos it was just fight fight fight, almost everyday and almost every thread. Do you remember? lol

recently a wonderful husband but prior to that-a handful of awesome reliable women friends
i guess i am one of the lucky ones
and no thanks necessary- a few people were nice to me-wrote me and encouraged me and welcomed me and yes
it made all the difference in the world
unfortunately for some-hehe-since its kept me here sooo long and they just wish i would take my man and my happy self and get on down the road

I see it this way about the "ignored" thing Ship.
If the thread has 2 or more pages and I comment on what is on the last page or the first page....rarely do I read the entire thread before commenting.
Hell I seldom engage brain before opening my mouth, so that being said, I am probably stating something that has already been stated.
Although I consider myself a "unique" personality. I accept from time to time my thoughts and opinions do not spark an onslaught of replies....that and when you are full of yourself ( Like me)the being ignored never becomes an issue.....

For myself, ship, I try to stay commenting, on the subject of the thread, but every now, and then, get distracted for various reasons, and might go off on a tangent. Probably should, if the comments are not related to the thread subject go IM, or private chat, but usually, for me anyway, it's only a couple posts. I do, pretty much, just skim over those group huddles, kinda like on political sites I visit, skim over rantings without factual truths. I post what I post, and if it's ignored I'm secure in the fact readers of it have nothing to add, nothing to dispute, or just do not care to recognize it. If I cannot add to the mix I don't stick around, if I'm ignored, what ta heck, they don't know what their missing.
