something: the ladies say they want honesty and humour look at there profiles if you don't believe me, then again , what a woman says and what a woman wants are not the same for sure my humour is a bit to warped for lots of them

And what makes you say that?

druidess6308: So, John...what about couples who meet on here? Buzzy and I are still separated by our distance, and will be for a small while yet. This is one of our forms of communication with each other since it's how we met...and as long as we both agree, why shouldn't we stay? We both make it very clear that we're not looking. And The Kansan and Jackson? I wouldn't want them to leave. So, I disagree with you completely.

It's a free site and a free country . To each their own..
Have you tried a telephone with Buzzy ? Much more personal...
I think if you're hooked-up and just wanna occasionally check in with your friends you've made here that's great and a healthy thing. Just seems unhealthy to continue to live your life in these forums especially if you've got a new realtionship to nurture. And besides, there's something to be said for interacting with people in person and getting outside for some fresh air and exercise ! dunno

A person must have trust or the relationship is doomed from the start. A person can be watched and still cheat. If she were concerned....we have something to work out. I would be willing by my choice for her to sit with me while I post and let her read all email content except that of a personal nature of friends with problems that need someone to talk to about their troubles. I would never have anything to hide!

True story! My great uncle was seeing the Sheriff's wife on the sly! The Sheriff was watching his wife close. My uncle would park down the road, walk, then crawl behind the outhouse and spread out a quilt in the grass. She would come to the outhouse while her husband held a lantern up at the back porch. If the lantern came that way. She would slip in the outhouse and uncle would slip into the woods.

Either have and be trustworthy or move on! Sad to say, some are not trust worthy and it will become plain who they are....then leave!

Hi Mercedes

You do not have to dump your friends, there are other means of keeping in touch with them.

If I was to leave here, because my partner felt uncomfortable, then there would only be around five people I would remain in contact with, the rest are people I have never met, are never likely to.

But as I said earlier in the thread, he does not care, that I am here.

And I do not care that he is.

It just does not trouble us, we do not have to look whether we trust each other, we do not have to offer passwords and so on, we would not dream of asking for such a thing, we just do trust.
