is it some sort of equilateral angle
with a sharp turn that gets us entangled

is it some multi-faceted polyhedron
i'm sure we could face it, and need one

is it an ancient mystical pyramid tall
with rhymes and runes in chiseled wall

is it a never ending Möbius strip
with endless edge, a continuous trip

is it a futuristic geodesic sphere
a better world in the future near

is it some mathematician's donut
that makes us plain laymen go nuts

is it a speck, some miniscule dot
to fill empty space, we'll need a lot

is it a long line from time before
that to future time, is never more

maybe around its smooth crystal globe
our thoughts reflective in temporal lobe

whatever its shape it now seems in tatters
as if everything else is all that matters

so whatever we find to be the shape of peace
let's work to make its size increase

it is not so much the shape, but its size
that makes our peace a thing to prize
