A millenium it seemed when it rolled down her cheek Eyes lit like sun in fathoms of wet She'd not asked for this Yet her heart took her there Vision obscure with mind full aware
Calendars in cradle each day marks an X Expired as they lay on the counter in view Was her heart brought her here Flame burned so bright Eleven in the pile workin on twelve
To the minute of day was his last gentle kiss That last tear was found when her heart let it go~

vision obscure with mind full aware. WOW! I'm with Gashly on this! Nicely captured down to the last lost tear.
and the last line is awesome..

"...last tear was found when..." Great insight, great writing
Intense. A little sad, but gripping. Very well done. I enjoyed.
