Life
Could we, the people, ever tell where life will take?
It’s hard to know and there’s no way to guess.
Life will then toss and turn us in its ways,
And we succumb and wait for better chance.
Should love ever elude us here we hope for best,
It may be somewhere else, no harm for us to wait.
We have all chances given, for the path
Of life is crooked, it’s not straight, may run astray.
We’ll need some time to rise from where we fell,
And then we’ll launch on our path again in haste.
In search of love, once stumble, twice, or many times we may,
Then straighten up and walk looking for better place.
This lifelong story never ends, it’s meant for years to pass.
With courage, left enough to last us on this path, consult
The skies, the stars, the sun, the moon to show us way,
Just walk, and walk and climb, and walk again.
We’re doing this since time we’ve ever started game.
We’ll make it or will not, we wait, we never ask,
The crooked path of life we walk on tells as much.

About this poem:
Inspired by a poem I had a happy chance to come across on this PC, on which I commented, but thought it better to write a poem.

To some degree we are all hostage to fate, I doubt if any of us can ever straighten out life's tangled chicanes.
A very philosophical write.
Best wishes

A beautiful question
Life will take....Where....we the people could ever tell
I wonder if the answer is in the question.
All life experiences have equal value
Or
The value of each experience is measured by the price we pay
I really enjoyed reading this - it has
a unique feel and flow to it
and so full of feelings.
