The Perch

The mailbox lights up
When they are there
I stop to wonder
Who would care
Open the door
To someones life
Without regarding
Any strife
Trust the sender
Open your heart
Tho wary maybe
Might just start
From rome to spain
They do come
Wondering if
Your the one
Hopes an dreams
Carry their call
Opening up
Before the fall
Honesty prevails
Most of the time
Although some do
Spin you a line
Regards to all
Who enjoy the search
For the endearing qualities
Of the lovebirds perch
