Muse ical

sensed sensibility
a hauntin' harmony
a musing melody
some tunin' in time

a tempting tempo
tappin' 'n beatin'
forgotten momento
timin' foot repeatin'

three part harmony
strummin' out rhythm
a chordin' you 'n me
wistful and winsome

heartstrung guitars
pluckin' my emotions
times measures the bars
wide skies whet oceans

saline welling eyes
was it real back then?
unnoticed in surprise
lost to even wisest men

the music filling void
hands a clap clapping
even day-today overjoyed
fingers snap snapping

whistle a little off-key
tryin' not to smile
don't matter 'bit to me
attuned playing for miles

Hi Dave

You almost had me swapping my walking boots for dancing shoes here, which is quite some feat - 'cos I'm a lousy dancer sigh

Enjoyed the read...

Regards

Bill cheers

Loved the title GG...do I sense a little nostalgia here. A lovely tribute to that music that gets us dancing and clapping our hands. dancing

Great subject, fab flow with humour and poignancy.
