The Wind (Let all the Earth Rejoice)

Tell me, tell me, says the tree
Where have you been?
What have you seen?
Yes, yes, joins in the grass
Tell us, tell us
Please, please, chorus the flowers
Tell us all
Where have you been? what have you seen?

Ahhhhh! sighs the Wind
And gently caresses the tree
I've been far
And I've been wide
And many things I've seen

Things that make you glad
Others to make you sad
Some bring tears of joy
Some that break your heart

Some should remain unspoken
Others remain unseen
Some should be remembered
Many best forgotten

Through deep dank forests
Over freezing high mountains
Across many deserted plains
Along desolate coastal headlands
Into cities and many homes
I have been

All the sights I have seen
And places I have been
None will ever compare
To see the King
The Saviour
Born in a manger

Oh my! says the tree
Branches all aflutter
Yes! yes! the grass gently rustles
The King! the King!
Finally! finally!
Join in the flowers
The King is here
