I MISS YOU!
Whatever happened, I'm not the one,
I guessed from silence, breach of trust,
I guessed from dumbness of my mind
That days I spent with you are past.
Whatever happened, I guessed it right,
I knew from stillness in my heart,
From senses dulled and void in mind
That days I spent with you are past.
Whatever happened, I know not much,
Just breach of trust like shattered glass.
Should there be love, another chance?!
Those days I spent with you are past.
Whatever happened, ended thus,
Romantic tale of love, its page finale,
No sequence meant, end of romance,
Love that was nice belongs to past.
Whatever happened, I know this much
That grass is withered, sky's overcast,
Just poignant memories and void in mind
It is this much that’s left to me from past.

About this poem:
We can't wave away past love as if nothing happened. Poignant memories keep gnawing at our heart. It remains for us to hope we can survive yet another blow with dignity.

Love that was nice belongs to past... While we and love's possibilities belong to NOW! Should there be love, another chance?! The newness of the future awaits the poet's design.
This is one of your finest writes, it is poignant without being mawkish. The rhetorical questions you pose strike just the right note.
I enjoyed the read
