Allah / Jehovah

Bombs go off, the bodies mount
Terrorists they rise
In Allah's name we will fight
A cry reverberates

One is east and one is west
So different must they be
One serve Allah, the other Jehovah
Never the twain shall meet

Both have wives and child at knee
Hopes and dreams, a future to see
Work so hard to provide
A better life for the family

So much alike, so little different
Hate and war who is teaching
Hands reach out, grasp another
Work on peace, love each other

Hi steve

not sure where you got your information at but jehovah has no wife a son yes but no wife. jehovah is certainly not about hate and war. don't even no what you mean by hopes and dreams jehovah don't need hope or dream cause he is the creator he shall do as he please. kickit

I think there is a interpretation breakdown. The point I was making was that the people fighting...one east...one west...serve two different gods. It is the men that fight have wives and children. East or west both basically have the same dreams and hopes and want a better life for their families. In reality if you take Allah and Jehovah out of the equation there is not much difference between 'them' and 'us' and really only left with a big US.

I get it man and don't see nowhere where you say that Allah and Jehovah are married and got kids. You talk about people fighting and that they serve different gods. I don't get where that other dude is coming from.

Steve, now that we have your personal comment on this poem and see your point more clearly I can't agree more with it: we are all the same, people from any part of the globe, makes no difference, with the same pursuits of happiness, sacrificing our own blood in wars unleashed by corrupt authorities seeking personal gain. We hate to see any of our loved ones killed or kill other human beings for god knows what reasons. I am as pacifistic as any reasonable person can be. Thank you.

I instantly grasped the concept of your poem.There is no difference except by way of race and creed.We all come under ONE BANNER "Human (humane0 Beings.The same colr of blood runs in everyones veins.The world would be a better place if people learn to be contented with what God has given them,if you can help another reach out and do so,but do not harm.I loved this poem of yours.every little seed put down will make a difference perhaps.
