Henry And Sister Gisella

Oh Henry dear, his mother called
Could you go pick some mushrooms
So off they went to pick these tasties
Henry and sister Gisella

Off they went to forest deep
To find mushrooms for picking
Deeper and deeper in they went
Henry and sister Gisella

Was round midday when realised they did
That lost they were quite soundly
Round and round they turned, yes lost
Henry and sister Gisella

On and on the day marched
And soon the sun was setting
Darkness came, lost in mid woods
Henry and sister Gisella

The moon came out to cast dim light
To barely show the pathways
Eerie sounds, lost amongst creaky trees
Henry and sister Gisella

Three days they wandered in the woods
Not knowing where they're going
Terrible hunger gnawed at them
Henry and sister Gisella

On the fourth when all was lost
A house they saw in distance
Ran to the house, saved they were
Henry and sister Gisella

Gingerly they knocked on door
Which ever so slowly opened
Come in, come in, please come in
Henry and sister Gisella

A kindly lady as old as the hills
She bade them sit at the table
Brought out food, a regular feast
Henry and sister Gisella

After the food to sleep they dropped
And awoke locked in small cages
You will be my dinner tonight
Henry and sister Gisella

Now this was no kindly lady
But a witch as wicked as wicked can be
She traps children, to eat them she loves
Henry and sister Gisella

Now if you expect a lovely ending
That the wicked old witch is dead
Well she enjoyed her dinner, no more
Henry and sister Gisella
