Flowers From My Meadow

Your words are overwhelming me
Turn down their furious flow
I'm not responsible for your happiness
That's entirely your own show
Your life is transforming you
Experience your own sorrow
Trying to make sense of life
Is something you can't borrow
My honesty may have shortcomings
The truth might lie in a shadow
It's not fair to share your feelings
In the muddy pit where you wallow
When feeling really down inside
Is someplace not to follow
If I could I'd cheer you up
And give you a beautiful rainbow
Just let you know you'll be ok and
Bring you flowers from my meadow

awee exactly... but what a beautiful poem and wonderful thought

If I could I'd cheer you up
And give you a beautiful rainbow
Just let you know you'll be ok and
Bring you flowers from my meadow

This area is a hard subject to write about... we often admire those who quietly endure hard times and keep a smile, but it's nice too to know that others care.....
