The Rules of Keeping Time

Is time racing by too fast and heading out in harm’s way?
Burning a candle too fast, do beware what I have to say
How much longer will it last that we always so depend
When we let others decide for us what message does it send?
When all the feelings that we hide are ticking deep inside
Is this only what we pretend or only what we can’t confide?

Deep and thoughtful, I've read it several times now but am still challenged by the meaning. I will have to ponder this a bit or maybe you could give my more insight as to the thought! Good write grin teddybear

In a perfect world we are masters of our own time (life), Think about a heart beat, there is a natural and healthy rhythem to life and we need to maintain it for good health, but how much about our modern world is stressful and has anything to do with what's natural or healthy? I think what I'm trying to say is we really must take control of our time on this planet because it's a finite resourse and ultimately our health and happiness will depend on it. I think that's what I'm writing about...handshake
