The Catch

Like nets drifting in the sea
Love is waiting to catch me
Time still causing me to flee
Steal away light from a star
Searching for love as you are
Closer or still so very far
Climb down my dragon stairs
Creep closer along my nesting lair
Are you afraid what’s hiding there
Your eyes searching into space
Waiting to fill an empty place
With a smile on your lovely face
