Some moments when I look at you funny A most demure smile spreads across your face Daintily laugh and mumble "Oh Honey" When I am serious you think it's child's play
Ok! Ok! Now what have I to say No words can decribe feelings I confess Lacking sincerity just fade away So many thoughts are lost while we digress
Away, my words flee from you in a flood Our confusion wasted like energy Causing friendship become stuck in the mud While taking classes in "Dramaturgy"
What if my thoughts were ever understood Instead of floating around like driftwood

About this poem:
A curious attempt at describing the insignificant sometimes of what I think or feel or say...
sadly one thing nobody seems to teach is antidramaturgy. we all have to learn it on are own by trial and error. good write, being open and honest with your thoughts is not exactly easy for many...elo..
well said Elo.... It gets a little tiring to hear 'how great' evryone else is all the time...when most of the time....It's just going okay....like it really makes me laugh...when i hear people say "sometimes I feel so blessed"...i want to say...oh yea...and "what do you feel the rest of the time?"
