Crooked Fence
A thousand steps
walking a crooked fence
steered by magnetic fields
from Fermilab to CERN
as Tevatron yields
to the more powerful
Large Hadron Collider
to find the God particle
universe’s explanation:
why Big-Bang-created matter
has mass and ability to coalesce?
Without Higgs boson
no matter, as we know it,
no chemistry,
no biology,
no people.
A thousand steps

still trying to understand:
why me?
as I accelerate
toward destiny.

Still trying to undestand....the obvious...I think.
I thank each of you for taking the time to read and make your kind comments on my challenge write. I have added a link to an article that has a great photo that spoke to me of a crooked fence, of sorts. - And, yes, I'm still trying...
WOW..a universe of particals, I have read the story on the news sites and I would have never expect a poem on poets corner to cover this subject let alone from a crooked fence line WOW.....but in living color here it is. an art form that i believe a talent of your status only can deliver and you certainly proved that here.
