Let me show you how much I’ve grown up since the day you've met me Allowed myself to evolve and develop into a woman you see More than just makeup and seductive words Way more than just long wavy hair and ocean deep curves I'm sick of this girl you always seem to see Why can’t you see the woman in me? I scream at the sight of spiders and sleep with the light on But you'd never find someone more trustworthy or who you can always rely on.
You're much older than me and I'll admit age is more than a number But I’ll have you know that my age has never let me encumber I have way too much to give to you Endless list of things I want to do with you Life time of love to share with you
Can we forge age for a second? Forget that you’re white? Forget that I'm black and Indian? Forget about religion! And just be ourselves for a second. I just need you to help me understand what I’m starting to feel Or do I just have to forget my feelings pretend they're not real

About this poem:
Ugh it is actually a poem about someone i really liked on here never really had the "guts" to tell him lol like it would have been stupid as he lived to far but i honestly miss him, weird how close you can get whilst being far apart. :/but i wasnt his type as such anyway lol
Very honest heart felt expression of what you feel....makes me applaud what you have shown to me....keep them coming...I believe this is my first read of any of your writes and I appreciate how sincere you express yourself....
