What happend to Lorii?

She’s changing, evolving, growing, and turning into someone else
Fighting away vanity, begging to have modesty
Showing the green skin under her black
Showing she’s not all talk showing she’s more than that

Broken little girl
Grew up in a broken little world
Scars on her arms scars on her soul
Will snatch your heart and go
Keep your wallet keep your money
Smother her in pity as she uses you to soothe her vanity

Leading men on, perfectly
She has always been good at stringing men along seamlessly
I guess it’s the need to feel wanted
As her vanity was once hunted to extinction
I guess her heart is not big it's an illusion a plastic extension
Fake exterior to conceal her real demeanour

Why do people judge Lorii like this?
Try their best to make her feel worthless
Do you want to destroy her? because you’re welcome to
But Lorii will never become this monster you want her to turn into.

This is a fine write Lori,a very positive spirit to have but sadly many donnot see their selfworth more than what others may portray them to be,rather they dwell on the image of what one might say about them.Thankshug wine

Hi Lori.. a good write from a good soul! Live your life your way..not as others wish or assume, for they are blind.. we all change over time through learning more of ourselves & surroundings..hug

You are changing! I know every year (around birthday time) I would have a big think and congratulate on how much more I had learned in the last year and that now I knew 'everything' talk to hand no - don't laugh I actually thought that every year. Until I reached 32yrs and with my new found year of wisdom that year I realized (much to my disappointment!) that I was never going to know everything! sigh <--- but there is no need to despair about growing up, changing, whatever - that's what life is all about and there is the fun part. If you always stayed the same it would be dreadful, static, boring - but you don't so you are and will not be any of these things. wink Me? I'm just a sage old lady now, looking forward to my rocking chair knitting hours bla bla yada yada innocent laugh NOT!
Keep changing and write it all down - for posterity of course!

Lorii dear...change is inevitable to all of us...as you mature your thoughts and ways will change with you for the better. Just live your life the way you want it as long as you know in your heart what you hear is not right...let them talk....keep on becoming a more beautiful you. You're a beautiful girl, a beautiful person...you don't need to prove anything...let the world talk...just do your walk! teddybear bouquet
