he seeks his answers elsewhere a border crossing into brazil where the rainforest has been murdered to farm meat that they can kill many hours many miles to understand the plight all he see's is hooves and dust it's not a welcoming sight he stays with a family to see the life they live an uneducated cattle baron and his instincts that would give food for his family forever and a day methane over oxygen there is no other way he's shared the ways of cattle he's tasted his own knifes blood he's asked the questions to understand how deep is this mud he seeks reasoning from the baron and realises what he already knew survival instincts pave the way what else was there to do.........

About this poem:
part 2 ...of the extremely open minded conservationist and his experiences in Peru and Brazil..............coming to terms with the depletion of rainforest for both timber and cattle .......
Hi, Nuwahri61, ...survival instincts pave the way what else was there to do......… Unfortunately, those survival instincts are quite faulty. To protect the life of the individual over the species is to ensure some degree of health for that person(s) but to pave the way for the eventual extinction of humans from that area and, if on a larger scale, the planet.
Those who have more than they need must figure out how to share so that those without do not have to poison their bodies, the air and land, destroying their future, in order to survive the present. Education is key; but, education without viable options can have but little impact. Thanks for sharing the journey of one who seeks his answers elsewhere...
Hi Joy ........Sorry for taking so long to reply .......unfortunately not until we have exhausted all that is natural and beautiful in this world will we realise the damage that has been done by then it will be too late .........It's due to people like this guy that has the open mindness to explore associate and understand these issues and possibly act on them in a positive way that has my vote of confidence ....a very hard thing to do when you are not born of that land ....Thanks for your in depth reply and wishing you a very Merry Xmas.....Regards Nu
