Here and Now........

Wait for me I'm coming
My journey has been long
My veins hold the key
To the word and the song
Time is but an avenue
I must endure the path
As I look ahead I see me
Relishing in music's bath

Don't worry I am fine
Guiding hands have loved me
I've walked a straight line
There is no reason to betray
There is no reason to belie
Don't worry I am fine
Guiding hands have loved me
I've walked a straight line

Blooming as a flower
The season is just right
My eyes are wide open
There are many on this flight
My confidence is high
My respect at it's best
I'll rub shoulders with them all
And let the music do the rest.........

Confidence, sure would be nice to have some of that. There wasn't much to go around when I grew up. Those that I wanted it from so desperately just didn't give it much. 100 put downs to 1 nice word said doesn't add up to much confidence or respect.
