Every flower must grow through some dirt Such as the struggle of life knows notoriously When whisks of winds cloud the half moon Such tepid swirling of gases are heated An overhead sun burning so gloriously All at once in a mid-summertime dream All attention is drawn or so it seems Pushes its fragile canopy towards the sky Escaping from its confines working laboriously Until at last with as much proper notice taken Very rare and beautified can not be mistaken Comes a pleasure earned so meritoriously And a feeling of joy shared so victoriously

About this poem:
Celebration of everything unique and beautiful found in this world
Nice write. So true for a grown flower. Its beauty outcasted by nature. I enjoy seeing a flower bloom where ever it is and all those things our senses can capture that this earth gives us to enjoy. SM
The flower is ai an amazing thing of Creation , since all creation continues through its seed (s) , generation after generation , Thanx for your nice poem ! keep on
I've always been a big flower gardener - and I love my perennials. My favorite flowers are red oriental poppies with black centers and white daisies together. I also love pink oriental poppies and iris. Right now my favorite are Day Lilies and Star Gazers. I have a lot of favorites - all of God's flowers are beautiful - even the weeds. Queen Anne's lace is so beautiful - fit for a royal wedding.
Kathy, Very stunning photo of your day lilies. The parts of the flower are designed to attract pollinators and help the plant to fertilize their seeds for reproduction. I wonder if there is any similarity between that and people who wear tattoos......be it art imitates nature or does nature imitate art?
