I need your help Not your preference Your sense of duty I have to trust Your intensions I share responsibility To strive my success With the success of others People need each other We need to get along Barriers are only constructed When walls are built On both sides of the border We should shoulder this embrace A good fence makes A good neighbor And let trust be our best friend Crossing over or crossing between It leads the world away from anger So does that make it better For no other sake Than this season before us Does it also repeat back and forth Does it really define us Make us somehow aware Of what’s been lacking for a long time
