Hi, agoodguy2have, rob, and andrew, Thank you for reading and sharing your comments about my poem. I am pleased that y'all enjoyed it! And, rob, through this virtual-world glimpse, I find it hard to believe that you are a "bad apple"!
gnj4u - intriguing poem my friend....as Dumbledore states "You place too much importance... on the so-called purity of blood! You fail to recognize that it matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be!"
Thank you, I really enjoyed your write and choose to stay open :)

Thank you for these words of balance One must learn to blossom where they are planted. You write so lovely in depth.
Hi, Jazzy, Thank you! It pleases me that you enjoyed it and found The Myth about Seeds intriguing. Your staying open does not surprise me. May we all do so in order to grow to be our best selves.
Hi, Proudamerican100, One must learn to blossom where they are planted is well-stated and so true! Often we spend our time wishing circumstances were different rather than doing our best work with what we have. Nourishment is found in your kind words. Thank you.
Hi, hedistuff, Thank you for your kind comments. To sort through life, I write. For this poem, there were so many actively competing thoughts in my head. It started with Harry Potter, part wizard, part Muggle, and his search for identity. Churning in the mix were various images of the sower, the seed, rain, the place, family, forgiveness and redemption, the potter of clay, life's meaning or lack thereof. This is what resulted. Now, I, too, am trying to understand what it all means to me.

The last stanza is haunting. Makes a body want to dance in the rain. Well put.
