fallin' off

falling off the very edge,
the wagon, the cliff, the ladder,
the pinnacle of love, no matter

all a freeing downward spiral.
knowing in a very short while
all things radically change

for better or worse, 'least,
that's what was often said,
often works another way, instead

the feeling is free, freedom,
to fall can seem a bit random,
like some unlucky star shooting

fire cascading down half-dome,
falling light and reddened ember,
judged beautiful or just litter

human descention, a personal matter
believe the best, or left in a tatter
fundamentally falling for the better

Sometimes if I pay attention when falling I can learn more from the trip down than the trip uplaugh And yes sometimes falling is "fundamentally for the better"

You paint a wonderful picture
It is a learning experience
We all fall every now and then
Picking up the pieces is the difficult part
I guess it builds our character
All the best
