I had this thing, ya see. With an ex...in jail he'd write me letters, apologizing for all the wrongs he'd done...He got out and it was a different story. I'd only hear from him from time to time, or not at all. He'd tell me he wanted to marry me, give me the things he denied me years ago...but if you can't fight for who or what you want...why bother?
